I’m Simone Bell, a qualified counsellor offering couples therapy and individual therapy in Kingswinford and online across the UK.
I specialise in supporting relationships affected by caregiving, chronic illness, and loss, including miscarriage and baby loss.
Much of my work centres around helping people navigate the emotional impact that life-changing experiences can have on relationships, identity, and emotional wellbeing.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, grieving, or simply exhausted from carrying too much for too long, therapy can offer a space to slow things down and feel supported.
Alongside my professional training, I also bring lived experience of chronic illness within the family. I understand how caring responsibilities, ongoing uncertainty, and emotional strain can quietly affect every part of life, including relationships, identity, and mental wellbeing.
This understanding has shaped the way I work and the areas I feel most drawn to supporting. I know that grief is not always loud or obvious. Sometimes it looks like exhaustion, emotional distance, guilt, resentment, anxiety, or simply feeling like you no longer recognise yourself or your relationship in the same way.
I am particularly passionate about supporting couples and individuals navigating caregiving, chronic illness, miscarriage, baby loss, and the emotional complexities that can come with these experiences.
I offer integrative, person-centred counselling, meaning therapy is shaped around you and your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
I aim to create a space that feels warm, honest, and supportive; somewhere you can speak openly without fear of judgement... But I’m not a counsellor who simply sits silently and nods. While I will always listen deeply and compassionately, I also offer thoughtful reflections, gentle challenge, and honest feedback where appropriate. Clients often tell me they value having a space that feels both supportive and purposeful.
Although therapy may involve exploring difficult emotions, I also believe it should feel human. So I bring warmth, authenticity, and humour into the room where appropriate, because healing conversations do not always have to feel clinical or heavy.
I work with couples and individuals navigating emotionally demanding life experiences and relationship challenges.
This may include:
Whether you are feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or simply carrying too much alone, therapy can offer a space to feel heard, understood, and supported.
