I'm Simone Bell, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist offering couples and individual counselling in Kingswinford and online across the UK.
My work focuses on supporting couples and individuals navigating relationship difficulties, emotional challenges and significant life experiences. I have a particular interest in relationship dynamics, miscarriage and baby loss, fertility difficulties, and the changes to identity and emotional wellbeing that can come with becoming a parent.
I understand that life doesn't always unfold as we expect. Experiences such as relationship difficulties, loss, illness and changes in family life can affect how we feel about ourselves, our relationships and the world around us. I therefore aim to offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported, whatever has brought you to counselling.
Alongside my professional training, my own lived experience of chronic illness within my family, caring responsibilities and life's uncertainties has shaped my understanding of how challenging and emotionally demanding life can be.
I'm particularly drawn to supporting people through experiences that can affect their sense of identity, relationships and emotional wellbeing. This includes relationship difficulties, miscarriage and baby loss, fertility struggles, and the transition into parenthood.
Alongside my counselling work, I am also a trustee of a charity supporting people facing difficult pregnancy decisions and those experiencing emotional difficulties following an abortion or other baby loss. This role reflects my wider commitment to supporting people through complex and often deeply personal experiences.
These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of having a safe space where people can feel listened to, understood and supported without judgement.
I offer integrative, person-centred counselling, meaning therapy is shaped around you and your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
I aim to create a space that feels warm, honest, and supportive; somewhere you can speak openly without fear of judgement... But I’m not a counsellor who simply sits silently and nods. While I will always listen deeply and compassionately, I also offer thoughtful reflections, gentle challenge, and honest feedback where appropriate. Clients often tell me they value having a space that feels both supportive and purposeful.
Although therapy may involve exploring difficult emotions, I also believe it should feel human. So I bring warmth, authenticity, and humour into the room where appropriate, because healing conversations do not always have to feel clinical or heavy.
I work with couples and individuals who may be experiencing relationship difficulties, emotional challenges or significant changes in their lives. My areas of interest include:
I also offer Christian faith-informed counselling for those who would like their faith and beliefs to be part of the counselling process.
However, you don't need to identify with one particular issue or fit into a specific category to come to counselling. What matters is having a space where you can explore what is happening for you and feel understood and supported.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially when you’re already carrying a lot emotionally.
